Not only wrong but stupid. The claim is that 114 million would lose their coverage. Even if the earlier report of the Lewin Group were accurate, it stated that up to 114 million would switch to the government plan. That is like saying that 114 million people lost their cable TV when they switched to cheaper satellite. And what's so bad about reducing the business of for-profit insurance companies who grow rich on people's sickness and pain? The sooner the better.

Perhaps she wouldn't be so partisan on this topic if she didn't employ so many illegal aliens at her restaurants, vineyards, and wineries... maybe her businesses need an inspection by ICE. Sorry just the thoughts of a soon to be Serf in her Queendom!

According to Section 222 on page 110, starting on line 17... you can read about the "Abortion for which public funding is allowed". According to this section and the paragraph above it, the difference between abortions which ARE publicly funded, and those that are NOT public funded will be determined by Congress. The decision is open for alteration by Congress, up to 6 months before the new plan year takes affect. In other words, each year Congress will get a chance to vote on what abortions will be publicly funded and which ones will not be publicly funded. This means that if this bill becomes law, Congress will have up to May 2011 to insert a new law which will allow for publicly funded abortions, because the OH SO URGENT Healthcare Reforms will not actually take effect until Jan of 2012. So urgent that we are going to put it off for 3 years!

Dr Burgess. We pay you more than 170 thousand dollars to go to congress and create laws in concert with other lawmakers that will benefit our nation. You owe us more than just a post of sections of the Healthcare reform Bill that your party does not like. These post serve only to inflame members of your party.

If this is the kind of negotiation you are doing in Washington, there is no wondering why congress can't make progress on a bill that would be good for the American people.

If you agree that participation by all in the Healthcare system is vital to successful implementation of the system and achieves the goal of driving down cost, please tell us the alternative that you have proposed on the floor that is better than taxing those that decide not to pay their share of healthcare cost. The people burden our current system by going to the emergency room. We pay in higher premiums when they don't.

We don't pay you to go to Washington to point fingers and talk about how bad the other guys are. We pay you to hammer out solution. We pay you to recognize the good and bad in each of these bill sections and convey the good and bad to us..

You've listed the segments of the bill but you've not taken the time to outline what it will do to promote participation in the reforms being proposed. This healthcare situation is very complex and I would appreciate if you start communicating in a balanced way as you feed us the information you are finding. Please list both the good and bad in these published bill segments and tell us if you favor them and why.

Please offer us an opportunity to give you feed back or conduct some sort of published poll so our voice can count in this matter.

Re: http://amplify.com/u/sqk @RepCliffStearns Re: http://amplify.com/u/sqk @RepCliffStearns Bill Smithfield, try looking up HR3400 and other health care bills being offered by the minority party. If I am understand enough of processure, they can not bring it to us because Nancy Pelosi is not allowing it on the floor to be debate. If you are interested in change, look for more bills at http://thomas.loc.gov/bss/111search.html and then contact your representative on which one you prefer for he/she to support. There are other bills in Congress, we just don't know all of them. What I finding out, some of these Congressmen will not mention them simply because they don't know of it existence or don't want to because it don't have their name as the author. I hope the later is not the case, because that would be petty.

A trillion dollars! Hey Gary Haber, who cares! If you'll just make yourself think like a bleeding-heart, give-away-someone-else's-money liberal democrat, it doesn't matter 'cause after all they "care" about people . Just listen to Mr. Vetula's enlightened comments above: "they (ILLEGAL immigrants) are here, we are going to pay....". Not having a real, rational, common sense argument, he has to resort to the only real thing liberals have: name calling, He has the gall to call those who disagree with insuring illegals "racist bigots"! No, illegals (lawbreakers) have no rights to benefits. And lest he, or anyone, think I'm a racist/bigot or prejudiced against Mexicans or Hispanics (the biggest number of illegals), I am one - born in Mexico - educated in the U.S., served in the U.S. military and naturalized after being here over 50 years (and paying my taxes, I might add). My parents came legally to the U.S. after much sacrifice and work. Yes, work. They came to America legally, followed the laws, worked hard and prospered. We assimilated into the society and proudly call ourselves Americans. God bless America!

RT @SmallBizRepub Sec. 552: Small Medical Device Companies Hit with Massive Tax http://amplify.com/u/tkr Re: http://amplify.com/u/tkr @SmallBizRepub In a previous post by a "Lou Vetula" he states, "Surely an industry with $2 trillion in anticipated revenues over the next decade can afford to pitch in $20 billion for much-needed reform." And while I don't agree with industry lobbying in Congress (whether device manufacturers or any other industry), I think he shows his fuzzing thinking when he non-chalantly declares that the industry "can afford to pitch in $20 billion". Mr. Vetula, they are not asking them to "pitch in", they are being force and coerced into doing this by a run away, fascist government. He seems to be a typical liberal democrat who just love to give away other people's money. It's time to: www.flipthishouse2010.com
